Abdul Rahman Pledges Full Support To Hii King Chiong

19.02.2016--Miri Islamic Welfare Association (Amal) advisor Temenggong Abdul Rahman Fadzil said he would render full support to United People’s Party (UPP) Piasau chairman Dato Hii King Chiong should he be nominated as the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the coming state election.

Abdul Rahman said this today at the association gathering of which Hii was also invited.

He explained that the Wisma Amal building required better infrastructure and facilities to benefit the members and hoped Hii would help.

He thanked Hii for his willingness to help solve their problems without seeking anything in return. He hoped Hii would continue to provide assistance to people in need and pledged full support to Hii in the state election.

The Wisma Amal building is located in Piasau Jaya near SMK Dato Permaisuri, next to Piasau Miri Branch Library and opposite Sekolah Rendah Sri Mawar.

Abdul Rahman had earlier handed over a letter to councillor James Hii Sing Lung, hoping Miri City Council would assist to solve their problems including pruning trees, laying steel covers over drains, installing road lights and upgrading infrastructure.

Councillor James Hii said he would forward the letter to the city council and look into the matter.
