“Dad, Mom, I Love You”, Hii King Chiong Sheds Manly Tears
14.06.2015-- “This year, we were caught unprepared when both my parents left us five days apart. Words cannot explain the sadness and pain we endured…”
Hii King Chiong recalled those heartbreaking moments during his speech tonight at the ‘Parents Appreciation Night’ celebration jointly organised by UPP (Northern Region) Women & Youth Section where he choked several times and shed manly tears. He tried hard to restrain his grief and his sadness was deeply felt by those present.
He advised all to respect their elderly parents and not to wait until it is too late.
He also took the opportunity to extend sincere gratitude and blessings to all parents in the world.
“Brothers and sisters, be thankful for what you have. Be grateful to your parents, family and friends at all times. Be tolerant and generous.”
