Badly Damaged Roads In Spring Garden Residential Area To Be Resurfaced

10.06.2015--United People’s Party (UPP) Piasau chairman and Majulah Miri founder Dato Hii King Chiong called on the City Council to do resurfacing works on the badly damaged roads in Spring Garden residential area that have not been maintained for more than 30 years.

A resident revealed that he had never seen any maintenance work being carried out by the authorities since he moved to the area more than 30 years ago.

He said the badly damaged roads are uneven and full of potholes due to wear and tear from traffic all these years.

Hii received a complaint from a local resident and immediately visited the residential area together with the engineer and councillors of the City Council.

After inspection, Hii requested the City Council to carry out resurfacing works to provide the local residents with improved road infrastructure.
