To Contest In Senadin In The Next State Election? Hii King Chiong : No Such Thing
21.05.2015--Majulah Miri leader Dato Hii King Chiong today denied on whether he is moving to contest in Senadin constituency in the next state election. “Majulah Miri provides assistance to anyone who approaches us regardless of location, ethnicity and religion. Therefore, I hope that everyone does not misunderstand our sincere intention.”
After his visit to a small surau in Desa Senadin this morning, Hii told the media that Majulah Miri’s service philosophy is comprehensive regardless of location, race, religion, ethnicity etc.
“As long as it is within its ability, Majulah Miri will lend a helping hand to those in need especially the disadvantaged people.”
Hii emphasised that he will do his best as long as it is within his ability. He pointed out that his activities in Senadin area had no connection with the forthcoming state election and did not mean he intended to contest in Senadin.
He stressed that Majulah Miri had shortcomings due to its limitations and hoped that everyone will work together with the service centre to achieve greater results.
Hii explained that his service team simply wanted to do their best in serving the people as a way of giving back to the society. This is also the founding purpose of Majulah Miri and Hii King Chiong Service Centre.
He pointed out that his service team has been serving and helping the people all the while and therefore the recent activities had nothing to do with the forthcoming state election nor the intention to contest in Senadin constituency.
