Hii King Chiong : Tolerant and Caring Is The Greatest Driving Force In Social Harmony & Progress

18.11.2014-- “Tolerant and caring members of society is the greatest driving force in social harmony and progress. The move by National Federation of Hawkers and Petty Traders Association to raise education funds through 1118 National Hawkers Day celebration is a virtuous event and fine example”, said the association’s Honorary Life Advisor Dato Hii King Chiong in his speech on the 42nd national representatives meeting.

Hii said that the recent hike in fuel prices had brought about rising costs in relevant industries which certainly affected the traders and hawkers.

He pointed out that National Federation of Hawkers and Petty Traders Association was an experienced and influential association and he believed fellow traders and hawkers were able to promptly adjust to cope with the subsequent changes and problems.

He urged fellow traders and hawkers from the east and west of the country to work together closely. He stressed that members should communicate and cooperate especially in trades among one another in order to expand their businesses and enhance business development for greater benefits.

He knew some very successful business people who made significant contributions by encouraging and supporting the new and inexperienced traders and hawkers.

Hii said that the leaders and committee members of National Federation of Hawkers and Petty Traders Association were well-respected business people and association leaders who had promoted good friendship among fellow members and made a lot of effort to ensure harmony, peace and prosperity among members.

He congratulated the newly elected council of Federation of Sarawak Hawkers’ Association. He hoped that the new council will continue to work closely with National Federation of Hawkers and Petty Traders Association for the benefits of the members.
