Few months ago Hii King Chiong Service Centre （HKC SC）received complaints from residents of Kpg Merikan regarding the bad drainage system at their housing area. They said the area, especially the main road will be flooded during heavy rains.HKC SC and Mr Hii instant response on their plight had managed to solve their nightmares. The upgrading of a new drainage system and widening the road were being carried out since last month.

Mr Hii King Chiong who was accompanied by Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Cr Suzanne Lee Tze Ha and MCC councillor, Cr Keith Chin received complaints from a resident who urged the relevant authority to upgrade the roads at Kpg Merikan. The residents said they had written to authority concerned since 15 years ago, to upgrade the roads and also to built road’s bumps but till now no positive action had been done.
