PTA - Success Lies Upon It...

06.07.13--The proactive roles from the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) played an important element in determining the success of its students, both in the academic and co-curricular activities.

This was disclosed by the Director of Forescom Sarawak Sdn Bhd, who is also the founder of Hii King Chiong Service Centre (HKC SC), Mr Hii King Chiong in his closing speech of the 3rd Jogathon Event organised by SK Kuala Baram II PTA this morning.

"The proactive role of the PTA is very important in assisting the achievement of its pupils, particularly in academic, co-curricular and self discipline", the well known philanthropist disclosed.

Mr. Hii further explained that with the solid cooperation between parents, teachers and the PTA, excellent results will be easily achieved.

"I wish to call on all parents and teachers, we must always work together with the PTA in order to pursuit excellence, without such cooperation we will always be left behind", lauded Mr Hii.

Elaborating on the event, En. Hii said that such activity should be organised frequently as it could be a better platform to foster unity and togetherness.

"This healthy activity must be given more encouragement because it can foster the spirit of unity and togetherness. We must put these spirit on top of others. This is the spirit of 1Malaysia", Mr. Hii said in ending his speech.

Mr. Hii later donated RM10, 000 to the PTA and the donation will facilitated its activities throughout the year.

Upon arrival, Mr Hii and his entourage were given a warm welcome by the school principal, Hjh Wan Aminah Haji Wan Dahili, PTA Chairman, Mr Venset Gangang, teachers and pupils of SK Kuala Baram II.

Mr Venset presented a souvenir to Mr Hii as a token of appreciation for his contribution to the school's PTA yearly activities. Looking on is the school principal, Hjh Wan Aminah Hj Wan Dahili.
