A Sincere Apology...

12.03.13-- “On behalf of the construction team, I wish to express my sincere apology to the public concerned. This new route means something to them especially the residents of Taman Tunku. I feel very regret with the delay. We have try our very best to avoid such unhealthy situation. The delay was due to several unforeseen factors and now we managed to overcome the problems”, expressed local philanthropist Mr Hii King Chiong to the media personnel who accompanied him during a site visit of the ongoing Taman Tunku bypass road expansion project.

He disclosed that one of the main factors of the delayed was the limited supply of construction materials. Beside, the illegal squatters who settled on the site refused to move out accordingly was also another issue that caused the delay of these 5.5km road expansion project.

With the significant supplies of construction materials and with the extra working hours, he gave his assurance that the whole project will be completed by end of April.

“Now i confident and assure that by end of April this project will be completed. I hope with the completion this new route it will solve the traffic's congestion problem“, assured Mr Hii.

To conclude his press statement, Mr Hii appreciated the numerous complaint and criticism he received from the general public regarding the construction progress. He said the public especially the road users has their rights to say and made unhealthy judgment on him.

“To all the complainant and to those who has criticized me and my team, I wish to say thank you. Your complaints, your dissatisfaction and some even criticized my personality has made me stronger. It give me strength and it also encouraged me to serve the community sincerely”, he concluded and later proceeded to the SJKC Chiaw Nam site which is also located only a distance away.
