90% Completed - A Work Well Done.
22.12.12. - Last month SK Lutong Parent Teachers Association (PTA) appealed assistance from Miri City Council (MCC) to upgrade a road linking to the school.
They had requested MCC to tar - seal and widen the said road as it could create danger to the school children and other road users.
On 29th Nov 2012 Mr Hii King Chiong accompanied MCC's Senior Engineer, Mr CHai Kor Het and other city council officers went to inspect the site. PTA's representative later presented their request letter to MCC which was witnessed by Mr Hii.
The widening and tar - sealed works commenced immediately which was carried out by MCC appointed contractors and to date, 90% of the works had been completed.
This morning, Mr Hii who is also the founder of Hii King Chiong Service Centre (HKC SC), accompanied by Cr Lawrance Kong, Cr Keith Chin, local contractors and members of HKC SC once again visited SK Lutong to inspect the works progress.
Mr Hii when met at the site expressed his gratitude to MCC who had done an excellent job ahead of schedule.
"I thanks MCC for their excellent works, the work complete just before school open its door early next year. This is what we want, excellent preformance and less talking", expressing his gratitude when interviewed by the media.

Thumbs Up To MCC,,,,Mr Hii and his entourage gave their gratitude to MCC. In less than a month 90% of the upgrading works completed. The tar - sealing works will begin soon.
